Job summary

Ibility seeks a Technology Business Management (TBM) Analyst to support the VA Office of Information and Technology in IT budgeting, cost transparency, and data-driven decision making. The role involves leveraging Apptio and TBM Council standards to sustain the TBM Cost Transparency Model.

This hybrid Washington, DC-area position requires 3+ years in IT financial management, SQL basics, strong communication, and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting, governance, and decision support.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and ETL processes for data querying and analysis.
• Strong written and oral communication, ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze financial, operational, and IT data to map to the TBM framework.
• Provide data analysis to improve IT cost transparency and support budgeting decisions.
• Build and maintain data workflows to automate financial processes in Apptio.
• Support data governance by normalizing data per established TBM standards.
• Contribute to model improvements through data-driven testing and feedback.
• Prepare documentation and technical analysis for government client meetings.
