Job summary
DirectShifts is seeking a physician to perform comprehensive Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations in the United States. The role involves reviewing medical records, evaluating cognitive and physical residuals from TBI, and completing VA-required documentation.

Qualifications
- MD/DO degree required.
- Board certification in Neurology, Psychiatry, or Physiatry.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the applicable state.
- Excellent clinical assessment and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive TBI C&P examinations.
- Review Veterans' medical records and imaging prior to evaluations.
- Assess cognitive, emotional, behavioral, neurological, and physical residuals from TBI.
- Complete VA Disability Benefits Questionnaires accurately and thoroughly.
- Prepare timely, objective medical reports.
- Maintain compliance with VA standards, HIPAA, and regulations.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely submissions.
