Job summary

Arhaus Recruiting is seeking a CAD frame drawer to create 3D furniture frame models using SolidWorks. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience with SolidWorks 3D drawing and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while paying strict attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will also have a Bachelor’s Degree in CAD and 5+ years of experience in furniture frame drawing. This position offers a dynamic work atmosphere in Boston Heights, Ohio.

Qualifications

Job Purpose

The CAD frame drawer will be responsible for creating 3D furniture frame models using SolidWorks software.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create 3D furniture frames; manage and modify current frame files as needed.
• Work closely with the PD department to create and modify frames.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience Requirements

3+ Years SolidWorks 3D Drawing.

Preferred Experience Requirements

5+ Years of Furniture frame drawing in SolidWorks.

Minimum Education Requirements

High School Diploma and Certification in SolidWorks.

Preferred Education Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in CAD with 3+ years’ experience in SolidWorks.

Required Skills

• Proficient in SolidWorks software.
• Understanding of the frame drawing process.
• Ability to work with Product Development to create new and revise old frames.
• Ability to perform established goals in a fast‑paced environment; strict attention to detail.
• Team player, reliable, work with minimum supervision.
• Must have own reliable transportation; ability to work weekends and overtime.
• Strong communication skills in reading, comprehending, speaking, and writing in English.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
• Sit for a minimum of 8 hours per day; some walking/standing required.
• Work in normal conditions of a furniture manufacturing plant which is heated and cooled, as well as a typical office environment.
• Good vision; required PPE: Safety Glasses and close-toe/close‑heel shoes when required.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries.
