Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks a Manager of Merchandising Taxonomy & Attribution to steward enterprise SKU and vendor data integrity. You will lead a dual-function team, enforce domain policies, audit data accuracy, and maintain product hierarchies to support consistent downstream data across retail, professional, and e-commerce channels.

The role is hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote) at our Raleigh headquarters. Requires 5+ years in data governance/MDM and 2+ years leading teams; CDMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience enforcing data policies in a high-volume retail environment.
• Understanding master data feeds into downstream channels (PIM, DAM, E-commerce).
• Ability to lead a team with varying levels of specialization.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dual-function team of Domain Governance Leads and Data Audit Specialists to maintain data integrity.
• Support and enforce data governance policies for SKU and vendor domains.
• Oversee audit programs to validate product attributes and digital asset associations.
• Maintain and evolve merchandising product hierarchy and category structures.
• Partner with Supplier Services to ensure vendor data and assets meet standards.
• Use audit results to identify defects and drive root-cause fixes with tech teams.
