Job summary

The Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Tax Unit. The APA will represent county boards and officials in civil matters and provide strategic legal advice on governance, contracts, risk management, and compliance in Franklin County courts.

This role will primarily handle real property tax foreclosures and advise county offices on tax-related issues. Candidates must demonstrate strong legal research, writing, analytical skills, and time

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admission to Ohio Bar and in good standing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MATRIX.
• Knowledge of real property law and tax foreclosures.
• Civil litigation experience including pleadings and court proceedings.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong critical-thinking and legal reasoning with ability to analyze complex issues.
• Excellent time-management, organization, and attention to detail.
