Job summary

Aquent is seeking a visionary Director of Tax Professional Services to guide firms through transformation journeys, blending advisory strategy with technology enablement. You will coach leadership, facilitate workshops, and shape governance for scalable tax solutions across multiple firms.

You will collaborate with senior partners to align operating models, service delivery, and pricing, while driving change management and adoption of innovative tax ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Active CPA designation required.
• 10+ years of experience in tax, advisory services, or firm transformation initiatives.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax transformation engagements through coaching, strategic facilitation, and implementation support.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to define vision, mission, and operating models for advisory services.
• Guide firms on leading practices across strategy, service delivery, workflow optimization, and pricing.
• Drive accountability and execution for transformation roadmaps within firms.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and mentor to firm leaders and tax professionals.
• Facilitate workshops, roundtables, training sessions, webinars, and onsite engagements.
• Contribute to development of enablement content and resources.
