Job summary

Deloitte Tax LLP is seeking a Manager in Tax Technology Consulting to lead delivery on Oracle EBS Financials and Oracle Cloud ERP engagements, focusing on tax requirements for direct and indirect taxes. You will manage client relationships, teams, and contribute to business development across TTC projects.

You will also help design and implement tax technology solutions, mentor staff, and collaborate across Deloitte’s global network to optimize tax processes and compliance for clients.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years' experience in implementation of Oracle EBS Financials and/or Oracle Cloud ERP including tax requirements for direct and/or indirect taxes.
• Experience with direct tax such as corporate income tax, tax provision, transfer pricing and state income taxation; familiarity with Oracle TRCS and other EPM Suite applications; preferred indirect tax experience with native Oracle functionality, ONESOURCE Indirect Determination, Vertex, Avalara, Sovos (Taxware).
• Ability to travel up to 50% depending on client engagement.
• Licensure/accreditations such as CPA, Enrolled Agent, or equivalent; relevant professional certifications listed in the ad.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
• Lead delivery of components of Oracle EBS Financials and/or Oracle Cloud ERP or indirect tax engine engagements.
• Identify, design and implement technology and innovative tax solutions.
• Maintain relationships and serve clients holistically across TTC and Deloitte.
• Act as counselor and coach; participate in staffing and retention activities.
• Develop and maintain contacts, organize and lead pursuit teams; contribute to business development.
