Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Tax Team Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of an established tax practice. This fully onsite role in Old Bridge, NJ offers a compensation range of $70,000–$80,000 plus bonus/OT and a clear path to improve workflows and service delivery.

You will monitor workloads, remove bottlenecks, and coordinate with CPAs to keep projects moving while escalating client service issues as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of team leadership experience within accounting, tax, or professional services.
• Experience managing workflows, priorities, and operational processes.
• Familiarity with practice management software; Canopy experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor team workload, deadlines, and file status using workflow management systems
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks before they impact client service or deadlines
• Lead regular check-ins with CPAs to keep projects moving and remove obstacles
• Manage client service escalations and oversee issue resolution from start to finish
• Provide partners with ongoing updates on workflow, performance metrics, and team capacity
