Res Consultant Group / Recruiting Edge Staffing is assisting an established CPA firm in Newark, NJ in recruiting a Senior Tax Manager to lead engagements and supervise tax teams. The role requires active CPA status and 10+ years in tax leadership within public accounting.

You will plan engagements, review returns, manage staffing and budgets, coach staff, and develop client relationships while marketing the firm and ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Active CPA license required.
• 10+ years in tax management in public accounting.
• Lead tax team and supervise staff performance reviews.
• Must review tax returns as last sign-off.

Aufgaben

• Plan, supervise, and complete engagements.
• Review tax returns prepared by staff.
• Plan timing and staff assignments for engagements.
• Review engagement documentation and inform partners of developments.
• Prepare client billings as requested by partners.
• Evaluate staff performance and develop client relationships.
• Market the firm through volunteering and public speaking.
• Assist in administrative functions as assigned by partners.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services.
