Job summary

Withum is seeking a Tax Supervisor to join our Lincolnshire, IL office (and other Northeast offices) to lead tax engagements from planning through completion.

You will supervise staff, mentor teammates, and coordinate complex returns for C corp, S corp, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.

A CPA, strong client service, and travel readiness are essential; the role offers a competitive benefits package and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA licensure, or working towards CPA, with parts passed.
• Masters of Science in Taxation is preferred but not required.
• Minimum 4 years of public accounting experience.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex corporate, S corp and partnership tax returns.
• Prepare high net worth individual tax returns.
• Review mid-level complexity tax returns.
• Research and draft memoranda on complex tax matters.
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities.
• Resolve tax controversies and client issues.
• Supervise and mentor staff accountants.
