Job summary

Hawkins Ash CPAs is seeking a Tax Supervisor to lead tax engagements from planning to completion in our Neenah office.

The role requires four to six years of similar experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA preferred. You will review complex tax returns and collaborate with clients to deliver strategic tax advice while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Four to six years of similar experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Manage client engagements from start to finish, including projecting, planning, supervising, directing, and completing tax projects.
• Review individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns in accordance with Firm and professional standards.
• Partner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and work closely with other team members to identify and research complex tax issues.
• Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Attend networking and continuing professional education seminars.
• Assist with initiatives of various Firm committees.

What you’ll do:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA preferred


• Four to six years of similar experience

• Ability to work extended hours as necessary


• Travel locally to/from engagements, which may include overnight travel as needed
