What You'll Do
- Review federal, state, and local tax returns for businesses and individuals.
- Supervise tax engagements from planning through delivery.
- Mentor and develop Tax Associates and Senior Associates.
- Research complex tax matters and identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and provide proactive guidance.
- Collaborate with firm leadership on tax planning, workflow management, and engagement execution.
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance across all tax engagements.
- Assist with staff development, training initiatives, and best-practice implementation.
- Contribute ideas that improve efficiency, client service, and team performance.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA preferred (or actively pursuing certification).
- 4+ years of public accounting tax experience.
- Experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns.
- Strong technical tax knowledge and tax research skills.
- Proven ability to supervise, coach, and develop team members.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
