Job summary

EY is seeking a Services Manager within the Financial Services Organization (FSO) EDGE Wealth and Asset Management team. You will deliver tax compliance and advisory work for hedge funds, private equity, and mutual funds, collaborating with seasoned professionals on complex taxation matters.

You will lead projects, manage client communications, and guide senior staff, strengthening EY’s trusted advisor role in the US financial services sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics.
• CPA/EA or licensed attorney required.
• Broad exposure to federal income taxation and state/local tax exposure.
• Proficient in tax and accounting technologies.
• Excellent teaming, leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage tax compliance and consulting work for clients.
• Identify and elevate problem areas to ensure timely, accurate tax returns and projects.
• Consult with clients and escalate complex matters to senior staff.
• Lead projects and work independently with guidance only on complex situations.
• Manage communications with client tax liaisons and trust teams for informed decisions.
• Maintain long-term client relationships and manage workflow.
• Oversee engagement deliverables and team resources to meet deadlines.
• Provide leadership, feedback, and coaching to team members.
