Job summary

EY is a global professional services leader seeking a Services Manager in the Financial Services Organization (FSO) – EDGE WAM tax team. You’ll advise on hedge funds, private equity and mutual funds taxation, including structuring, planning, and advisory services.

The Financial Services EY EDGE Wealth and Asset Management team provides tailored tax support for asset managers. You will lead projects, mentor staff, and deliver high‑quality tax solutions for financial institutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional services or tax services organization in the financial services industry
• CPA/EA or licensed attorney
• Broad exposure to federal income taxation and exposure to state and local tax
• Proficient in the use of various tax and accounting technologies
• Excellent teaming, leadership, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage tax compliance and consulting work for clients
• Recognize and elevate problem areas to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax returns, research, accounting, and projects
• Consult with clients and elevate complex matters to senior management and subject‑matter professionals
• Lead projects and work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
• Manage communications with client tax liaisons and trust teams to support informed decision‑making
• Maintain effective long‑term relationships and manage workflow with clients
• Manage engagement deliverables and team resources to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy
• Provide leadership, feedback, and coaching to team members
