Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd seeks a Tax Senior to join our well established regional CPA firm. You will handle diverse accounting and tax assignments under supervision, with a clear path to management in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of public accounting experience with growing responsibilities.
• Bachelor's in accounting or Master’s in accounting.
• Minimum of 40 hours of CPA continuing education per year.
• Licensed CPA or pursuing licensure with good standing in the AICPA (if licensed).

Responsibilities

• Performs diversified accounting and tax tasks under supervision.
• Demonstrates competency in technical skills and firm standards.
• Directs and instructs assistants in work to be performed and reviews working papers.
• Prepares and indexes working papers and verifies GAAP compliance.
• Prepares complicated tax returns and dissolution or liquidation returns.
• Suggests client tax planning ideas to supervisors.
• Prepares routine client correspondence for partner approval.
• Supervises staff accountants and reviews their work.
