Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join the Private Client Services (PCS) team in Baton Rouge. You will coordinate and supervise multiple engagements, prepare federal/state/international returns, and respond to IRS notices while mentoring interns and associates.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years in tax, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and experience with ProSystems FX or similar software. CPA or Enrolled Agent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• 4+ years of recent tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or with a mix of public/private experience.
• Experience preparing tax returns for individuals, trusts/estates, and/or entities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and supervise multiple engagements which include consulting, compliance, and tax planning services.
• Prepare federal, state, multi-state and international income tax returns.
• Conduct research and planning according to applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Appropriately respond to IRS and state tax notices.
• Communicate with clients as directed by Manager.
• Work as part of an integrated team.
• Assist with the training and mentoring of Interns and Associates.
