Job summary

EisnerAmper in Baton Rouge is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join the Private Client Services team. You will coordinate, supervise multiple engagements including compliance and tax planning, and mentor interns and associates.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 4+ years of tax experience in public accounting or mixed public/private, with experience preparing returns for individuals, trusts/estates, and entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 4+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or mixed public/private experience.
• Experience preparing tax returns for individuals, trusts/estates, and entities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and supervise multiple engagements including consulting, compliance, and tax planning services.
• Prepare federal, state, multi-state and international income tax returns.
• Conduct research and planning according to applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices.
• Communicate with clients as directed by Manager.
• Work as part of an integrated team.
• Assist with training and mentoring of Interns and Associates.
