Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join the Private Client Services (PCS) team in Baton Rouge. You will coordinate engagements, prepare returns, and conduct tax research to support clients including individuals, trusts, estates, and entities.

The role emphasizes collaboration within an integrated team, mentoring of interns, and ongoing client communication under the direction of a Manager. CPA or Enrolled Agent pathways are valued, with ProSystems FX/CCH/XCM experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• 4+ years of recent tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or with a mix of public/private experience.
• Experience preparing tax returns for individuals, trusts/estates, and entities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and supervise multiple engagements including consulting, compliance, and tax planning services.
• Prepare federal, state, multi-state and international income tax returns.
• Conduct research and planning according to applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices.
• Communicate with clients as directed by Manager.
• Work as part of an integrated team.
• Assist with training and mentoring of Interns and Associates.
