Kaufman Rossin is seeking a Tax Senior with ASC 740 experience to join our growing Tax Department. You will manage client relationships, perform technical tax compliance and consulting work, and mentor staff.

The role emphasizes reviewing tax provisions, federal/state returns, and cross‑functional collaboration. Ideal candidates have 3–4 years of public accounting tax experience, an MS in Taxation, and CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years' tax experience at a public accounting firm.
• MS in Taxation; CPA strongly preferred.
• Experience with ASC 740 provisions for public/private companies.
• Experience with Federal and State tax returns for midsized to large C‑corporations.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing individual and non-individual tax returns.
• Preparing, reviewing, and auditing tax provisions for public and private companies under ASC 740.
• Reviewing Federal, State tax returns and work papers for midsized to large C‑corporations.
• Assisting in planning and resolving tax issues.
• Mentoring and training staff; business development.
• Communicating with federal and state tax authorities as needed.
• Researching complex tax issues.
