Qualifications

• 3-4 years' experience within tax at a public accounting firm.
• MS in Taxation.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Experience with tax provisions for public and private companies' reporting under ASC 740.
• Experience with Federal, State tax returns and work papers for midsized to large C corporations.
• Strong team player and a commitment to high quality, detailed work.
• Ability to deal with clients and possess "executive presence"

Responsibilities

• Reviewing individual and non-individual tax returns
• Preparing, reviewing, and auditing tax provisions for public and private companies' reporting under ASC 740
• Reviewing Federal, State tax returns and work papers for midsized to large C corporations
• Assisting entire Tax practice on resolving day-to-day tax issues
• Communicating with federal and state tax authorities as needed
• Researching complex tax issues
• Assisting in planning
• Mentoring and training staff
• Business development
