Job summary

H&R Block in Newnan, GA seeks a team member to assist with initial tax interviews by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program. You will help assemble tax returns, obtain signatures, and review the finished product with clients, while completing bookkeeping procedures.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong reading and math skills, and the ability to communicate well in person and on the phone. Prior experience with Windows-based software is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and math skills to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program during the interview.
• Assemble the tax return, obtain required signatures, review the finished product with the client, and complete bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
