Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented team member to support early tax interviews and finalization. You will enter client and W-2 information, assemble returns, obtain signatures, and review results with clients to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.

This role requires strong reading and math skills, effective communication, and experience with Windows software. Local state/local requirements may apply; additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
