H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to build client relationships while delivering comprehensive tax services. You’ll receive advanced training and support from an expert team to handle diverse tax needs and drive client satisfaction.

As part of a franchise office, you’ll complete interviews, prepare returns, and promote additional products and services, contributing to business growth and client retention. Strong communication and virtual-work proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
