H&R Block is hiring a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team, dedicated to providing advanced tax training you’ll need to be successful.

You’ll conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools, prepare complete tax returns, and help generate business growth while delivering IRS support. Franchise office expectations apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification required.
• Experience completing individual, trust and partnership returns.
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience with virtual tax interviews.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Enrollment or completion of H&R Block Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment is not a guarantee of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support including audit representation where applicable.

Skills

5+ years experience in accounting/fin/

Strong client communication

Education
