Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and to be supported by an expert team. You’ll conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools, prepare complete and accurate tax returns, and help generate business growth while increasing client retention and offering additional products and services.

Franchise office dynamics apply, and enrollment in or completion of required H&R Block training may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates
