H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and to work with a supportive tax training team. You will conduct interviews, prepare returns, and help grow the client base through added services.

The role emphasizes providing IRS support and mentoring teammates in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering excellent service across virtual and in-person channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support (including audit representation for Circular 230 associates).
• Mentor and support teammates.
