Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and provide advanced tax training and support from a dedicated team.

You will conduct tax interviews, prepare complete tax returns, and help grow the client base while delivering high-quality IRS assistance. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with both in-person and virtual interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support, including audit representations where applicable.
