Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member in Edenton, NC to assist at the start of tax interviews by entering client data and W-2 information. You will help complete and review returns, obtain signatures, and ensure quality service to every client.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic reading and math skills, and good communication both in person and by phone. Familiarity with Windows programs is helpful for processing tax paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, and reviewing the product with the client.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
