Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an associate to assist with the tax interview process at our Greenwood, AR office. You’ll enter client and W-2 information, assemble tax returns, obtain signatures, and review the finished product with clients to ensure accuracy.

Strong reading and math skills, good communication, and familiarity with Windows-based software are required. High school diploma or equivalent is expected, with additional coursework in math, accounting, or finance a plus.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
