Job summary

H&R Block, Texarkana is seeking a team member to support tax interviews by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program and by assisting in assembling the tax return for signature. You will review the finished product with the client and complete bookkeeping procedures to ensure accurate filings.

Strong communication skills, basic math and reading abilities, and experience with Windows-based software help you deliver superior service to all clients.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs
• Additional state and local requirements may apply

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• All other duties as assigned
