Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is hiring a friendly associate to assist with the tax interview process, entering client and W-2 information into the tax program, and assembling the tax return.

You will review the completed product with the client and help ensure accuracy and timely signatures. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic reading and math skills, and clear communication in person and on the phone.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
