Job summary

Cerity Partners is seeking a Tax Prep Intern to join our tax team in Cincinnati. This paid internship (25-30 hours/week, January to mid-April) offers hands-on experience preparing federal, state, and local returns using UltraTax CS and related tools.

You will collaborate with tax advisors, develop workpapers, and support document management while upholding confidentiality and professional integrity.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student with 3.2 GPA or higher.
• Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or related business degree.
• Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Applications.
• Active campus involvement and leadership experience.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local returns using UltraTax CS.
• Create workpapers in Engagement Manager and SurePrep that tell the project story.
• Use FirmFlow and GoFileRoom to track workflow status.
• Research and analyze a range of tax issues.
• Support Tax Advisors and Tax Administrators as needed.
