Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented team member to assist with tax interviews and the assembly of returns in our Selinsgrove area office.

You will enter client information and W-2 data, help prepare and review tax forms, and ensure accuracy and client satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, solid reading and math skills, and the ability to communicate clearly in person and on the phone.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading and math skills to complete tax interviews.
• Effective communication in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs is helpful.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, and reviewing the finished product with the client.
• Complete bookkeeping procedures as part of the closing process.
• All other duties as assigned.
