Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a team member to assist at the start of tax interviews by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program. You will help close interviews by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, and reviewing the finished product with the client.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, solid reading and math skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assemble the tax return and obtain required signatures.
• Review the finished product with the client and complete bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
