Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an entry-level team member in Pennsylvania to assist with tax interviews. You will enter client and W-2 information into the tax software and help assemble tax returns, obtain signatures, and review the final product with clients.

The role emphasizes delivering superior service and performing routine bookkeeping tasks. Strong reading, math, and communication skills are essential, and familiarity with Windows-based programs is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
