Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a team member to support tax interviews in Pennsylvania. You will input client and W-2 information into the tax software and help prepare and review returns with clients. You will assist with signing and finalizing the tax interview and related bookkeeping tasks.

The role emphasizes clear communication, accuracy with Windows-based programs, and delivering superior client service. State and local requirements may apply; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
