Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an entry-level team member to assist with tax interviews, enter client and W-2 information, and assemble tax returns. You will obtain signatures, review the finished product with clients, and complete bookkeeping procedures.

Excellent communication skills and basic Windows experience are required, with additional state/local requirements potentially applying. This role focuses on delivering superior service to all clients while supporting the tax team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into tax program to begin interview.
• Assemble tax return and obtain signatures to close the interview.
• Review the finished product with the client and complete bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
