Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented team member to support tax interviews at the start and finish of each client session. You will input client information and W-2 data, assemble returns, obtain signatures, and review the completed filing with the client.

Strong communication and basic Windows computer skills are essential, along with a commitment to delivering superior service and following franchisee procedures for bookkeeping and closing tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, and reviewing the finished product with the client.
• Complete bookkeeping procedures and ensure all clients receive superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
