Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an entry-level associate in Elizabethville, PA to assist with the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program and to support the preparation process.

You will help assemble returns, obtain signatures, and review the finished product with clients while delivering superior service. Strong reading, math, and communication skills are essential, as are basic Windows-based computer abilities. Other duties as assigned by the franchise office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• All other duties as assigned
