Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. in Mebane, NC seeks a detail-oriented team member to support tax interviews and returns. You will enter client and W-2 data, assemble tax returns, obtain signatures, and review the completed product with clients to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Strong math and reading skills, clear communication, and comfort with Windows-based software are essential. Experience with tax software is helpful; other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
