Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a team member to assist with the tax interview process at our Burnsville, NC location. You will input client and W-2 information, assemble tax returns, obtain signatures, and review the finished product with clients.

Strong reading and math skills, clear communication in person and over the phone, and familiarity with Windows-based programs are required. Additional state/local requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
