Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking people to assist with the tax interview process in Jacksonville, NC. You will enter client and W-2 information, help assemble the tax return, obtain signatures, and review the finished product with clients.

You will work toward delivering superior service to all clients, and perform bookkeeping duties as needed. Additional duties may be assigned by the franchise office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
