Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. in Taylorville, IL is seeking a detail-oriented tax support teammate to assist with the early tax interview, entering client and W-2 information, and helping build trusted client relationships.

You will help close interviews by assembling returns, obtaining signatures, and reviewing the final product with clients, while completing bookkeeping procedures and ensuring superior service for all clients seen.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
