H&R Block, Inc. is seeking staff to assist with the tax interview process in Mount Vernon, IL. You will enter client and W-2 data, assemble returns, obtain signatures, review outcomes with clients, and complete bookkeeping steps.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, good reading/math skills, and the ability to communicate well in person and by phone. Windows-based software experience is preferred and additional local requirements may apply.

• Reading and math skills to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Aufgaben

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
