Job summary

H&R Block franchise office is looking for a team member to assist with tax interview processes, from gathering client data to finalizing returns. You will help assemble tax returns, obtain signatures, and review outcomes with clients to ensure accuracy and satisfaction.

Strong reading, math, and communication skills, plus familiarity with Windows-based programs, are essential. Previous tax or bookkeeping experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return and obtaining required signatures.
• Review the finished product with the client and complete bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
