Job summary

H&R Block Lincoln is seeking an entry-level teammate to help begin tax interviews by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program and assist with the closing of interviews by assembling tax returns and obtaining signatures.

You will review the finished product with the client, complete bookkeeping procedures, and ensure all clients receive superior service, while learning state and local requirements and using Windows-based programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
