Job summary

Stripe is seeking an Operations Program Manager for the Tax Operations and Delivery team. You will partner with Tax Operations, Product, and Engineering to design and operationalize repeatable execution mechanisms that improve planning, coordination, and delivery for key initiatives.

You will bring structure to ambiguity and build practical solutions that improve how teams work together, with impact measured by repeatable mechanisms that enhance operational excellence across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives from ambiguity to execution.
• Ability to identify friction and design scalable improvements that drive results.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience designing or improving operational processes and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and improve repeatable execution mechanisms tracking program status and risks.
• Collaborate with Tax Operations, Product, and Engineering to improve planning and delivery.
• Identify friction and recommend scalable improvements for operational effectiveness.
• Establish metrics and reporting to provide visibility into execution health.
• Facilitate cross-functional reviews and planning sessions to align teams.
• Monitor initiatives through rollout and drive follow-up improvements.
