Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) in Minnesota seeks an Internal Operations Intern to support tax document processing and client intake. You will organize, scan, and route documents, assist with tax returns, and help meet strict deadlines as part of a collaborative team.

The role starts January 2027 and ends April 2027, with travel to client sites as needed. The internship offers exposure to real client work and learning opportunities across CLA locations in MN.

Qualifications

• Working toward a bachelor’s degree; accounting/finance focus preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and organizes client incoming tax documents.
• Assists with intake of tax information and prepares for routing.
• Ensures all client documents are tracked and kept current.
• Organizes, scans and processes tax documents.
• Assembles client tax returns following established procedures.
• Assists team in meeting government deadlines.
• E-filing and other final delivery steps.
• Other responsibilities may include prep of informational tax documents.
• General operational support and other tasks as requested.
