CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) invites applicants for an Internal Operations Intern in MN, with start January 2027 and end April 2027. The role involves organizing client tax documents, intake of tax information, and ensuring timely delivery.

You will support tax document workflows, assist with e-filing, and help the team meet government deadlines while developing accounting and operations skills in a collaborative environment at CLA's Minnesota offices, including Monticello and nearby locations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Review and organize client incoming tax documents.
• Assist with intake of tax information and routing preparation.
• Ensure client documents are tracked and kept current.
• Organize, scan and process tax documents.
• Assemble client tax returns following established procedures.
• Assist team in meeting government deadlines.
• E-file and finalize delivery steps.
• Prepare informational tax documents.
• Provide general operational support as needed.
