Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking an Internal Operations Intern for our Minnesota locations, including Alexandria, Brainerd, Monticello, and St. Cloud.

The role begins January 2027 and ends April 2027, offering hands-on exposure to tax document intake, organization, and e-filing processes. Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a willingness to learn new technologies and travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (strongly preferred).
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with MS Windows and Office products.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and organizes client incoming tax documents.
• Assists with intake of tax information and prepares for routing.
• Ensures all client documents are tracked and kept current.
• Organizes, scans and processes tax documents.
• Assembles client tax returns following established procedures.
• Assists team in meeting strict government deadlines.
• E-filing and other final delivery steps.
